Kayla
OTR/L, OTD Occupational Therapist
Kayla earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2011 and has been part of the Little Miracles family since 2014. She is passionate about helping children and their families achieve success in both the big and small moments of daily life. Known for her joyful approach, Kayla loves celebrating milestones and sharing in the growth of each child she serves.
Kayla specializes in:
- Sensory integration
- Trauma-sensitive practices
- Emotional regulation
- Feeding therapy (trained in SOS Approach to Feeding and Beckman Oral Motor Program)
- Reflex integration
- Developmental delays
Her dedication to professional growth is reflected in her advanced training, including courses in psycho-sensory processing intervention and trauma-informed care, Beckman Oral Motor Program, SOS Approach to Feeding and Dynamic Core for Kids.
Recently, Kayla and her family relocated to Bemidji, MN, to be closer to loved ones and enjoy the beauty of Northern Minnesota. She is thrilled to bring the mission of Little Miracles to the Bemidji area and looks forward to supporting local families with the same warmth and expertise she’s shared in the Grand Forks community.
Dale
Occupational Therapist
Dale graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2024 with a Master of Occupational Therapy. During his studies, he completed fieldwork placements at a pediatric outpatient clinic, elementary school, inpatient orthopedics and mental health, gaining valuable experience in diverse practice areas. With a passion for supporting children’s growth and development, he is committed to helping children of all ages and abilities build the confidence and skills needed for meaningful participation in their daily lives.
Grace
Occupational Therapist
Grace graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2024 with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She has clinical experience in school-aged care, inpatient and outpatient settings, and completed a rotation in hand therapy. Grace has a special interest in pediatric orthopedics and upper extremity rehabilitation across the lifespan. She takes a functional, goal-oriented approach—helping children grow their strength and confidence, improve fine motor skills, and return to the activities they enjoy. Grace is excited to work with your child and looks forward to supporting their growth in every aspect they need.
Maria
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Maria graduated from Northland Community and Technical College in 2024 with an Associate in Applied Science Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has worked for Little Miracles for over 3 years in various roles including child care provider, therapy aide and now as an OTA. Maria is passionate about inclusivity for all and strives to show that within her profession. Through her fieldworks, she gained experience in the areas of pediatric mental health, school based OT, outpatient child and adult care as well as inpatient rehabilitation. Maria chose to be an OTA because she felt that helping others achieve their goals is the most rewarding opportunity to experience in life!
Danielle
Occupational Therapist
Danielle graduated from The University of Scranton in 2023 with a Master's of Science in. Prior to joining the Little Miracles team in November 2024, she worked in a pediatric outpatient clinic in Connecticut, as well as in skilled nursing, subacute care, and orthopedics. She is trained in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment & Intervention and has a special interest in sensory integration and DIR Floortime. Danielle is passionate with working with children and helping kiddos grow to their fullest potential
